Letter from W. S. Carter to M. O. Laisure discussing that Laisure's inquiry as to the authority to enable the 11th and 12th seniority districts to consolidate. Carter reiterates that Laisure does not have the permissions to authorize the consolidation, and to do so would call for objections from the company.

Patent for a compact combination range or stove with "a cabinet for culinary utensils" (lines 12-13). "Compartments are substantially thermally independent of each other" (lines 17-18), due to flue arrangement, reticulated baffle plate and a two-way self locking damper.
