Early edition of Heidi by Johanna Spyri. The cover of the book is red with white and black printed illustrations on it. The title and author's name are in gold. The illustration is over Heidi sitting across from a boy with her arm wrapped around a goat. In the background is a mountain with some trees and the sun peeking over the edge. On the inner cover is a illustrated print in bright green. In the illustration is Heidi standing in a forest with her arms held out above her head. On the cover page is a box which has some decorative motifs and contains the title and the names of the author, translator, author of the introduction, and the illustrator. Below that is a seal for the publishing company and then the locations and name of the publishing company. On the opposite page is an illustration of Heidi having a picnic with an older boy. They are sitting in a field holding bread and cheese. Behind them are several goats grazing on the mountainside. In the background is a forest of evergreens and more mountains.

Pedro J. Gonzalez, autobiographical account of revolutionary times. A wide column of text extends across the fronts and backs of two yellow pages, filling each space. Handwritten words and markings appear between and on lines of printed text throughout the document.

Funeral announcement for General Pascual Orozco, Crisoforo Caballero, Jose F. Delgado, Andres Sandoval and Jesus M. Terrazas. Eight photos are arranged around a sheet of paper that has a cross icon printed above lines of text that alternate between fonts.

Catalog for North Texas State College includes information about class offerings as well as general information about the school (academic calendar, list of officers and faculty, admissions and degree requirements, financial information, etc.).

Book of poems about peace and war written by Mrs. David Scull Bispham. Bound in off-white wrappers. Front cover features title in black ink and an image of red cross. On inside rear cover is a dedication dated Nov. 18, 1915 (largely illegible), and the name of the author, Caroline Russell Bispham.

Loose pages of a scrapbook that belonged to Amy Newsom, a student of North Texas State Normal College in the 1910s. Many of the photographs depict Newsom and other female students who resided in the Gallagher House, a boarding house in Denton, Texas. These photos show the students studying, posing in front of the house, exercising, and participating in other social activities around campus and Denton. "Ma and Pa" Gallagher, presumably the owners of the house, are also pictured as is William Bruce, the university president at the time. Individual photographs of Newsom's "friends and classmates" are featured and labeled either with first and last names or the individual's relationship to Amy. These individual photographs include photos of Amy Newsom and of her younger brother, Clyde Newsom. In addition to photos from Newsom's time in college, the scrapbook also contains photographs and postcards from a trip to Palacios, Texas, as well as "miscellaneous" photos of a house in Celina, Texas, and of a creek.
