On the back of the card there is a note from Milton Andrew saying he received letters from the family and was "glad to here it has rained in Tex."

Postcard from M. A. Milton to W. A. Scott with a photograph of a goat standing next to a child dressed in a navy uniform, the title of the photograph is: "The Visitor and a Ship's Mascot." The note on the back of the photograph concerns Milton's unanswered letters by Scott: "I guess you must be drownded. Why have you not answered my letter?"

Postcard of George Washington. The front of the postcard includes a portrait of George Washington and an eagle holding a shield with stars and stripes, along with the text: "Washington, 1732-1799, 'The father of his country.'" Handwritten note on the back of the postcard states that the card is to remind Lou Rayburn of Washington's birthday.

Postcard of a photograph of a stone bridge crossing a still creek. "This is the bridge that Jack built," is written above the bridge. Blue hands are drawn pointing towards the bridge. On the back, "The question is who's Jack H. H. 10-21-11" is written. The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Washington D. C. Gunston Hall."

Postcard of a young girl with pig tails looking at a boy to her left, while the boy looks away from her. "Not me!" is written between them. The letter written on the front is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Washington D. C. Gunston Hall."

Postcard of a rocky coast with rolling waves. On the back, the message reads, "Last report I had was that Jack was abroad and was seen last in China, Texas. H. H. 11-21-11." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Washington D. C. 1906 Florida Ave."

Postcard from J. P. Eagan to George Pendexter describing the photograph on the reverse side as a fire in St. Louis on May 23, 1911 and saying that Pendexter's new fire truck "is a dandy" and gives a descriptions of its technical features. The photograph on the reverse side shows a large number of fire fighters working to put out a fire at one of the buildings in the city; Eagan says "This is one of several paper stock fire." Three of the photographed firemen are walking up the large pile of debris while most of the others are at ground level working the hoses and spraying water on the pile.

Color tinted halftone postcard from around 1911 showing St. Mary's Academy, Marshall, Texas. The view shows a side entrance facing the street and part of the main entrance on the left. It is a three-story brick building on a raised basement of stone. Printed on the top of the image in black is the title, "St. Marie's [sic] Academy, Marshall, Texas." The postmark on the back of the card is dated Dec. 21, 1911, and the card is addressed to Mrs. Ida Swartz in Reading, Pa. Printed on the left edge of the message section of the back: "Published exclusively for Duke & Ayres Nickel Stores. Made in U. S. A." Holy Cross nuns founded St. Mary's Academy in Marshall in 1880. It continued until 1957. This building was constructed in 1911.
