Color tinted halftone postcard of the First Presbyterian Church, located at 310 N. Fulton St., in Marshall, Texas, photographed around 1907. The main building was constructed in 1884 in an English Arts and Crafts parish church style. The main gable-roofed structure has a picturesque tower entrance porch projecting on the right. Decorative shingles can be seen on the mid-level of the entrance tower and in the ends of the gables, and turned wood elements decorate the entrance porch. Bushes and trees surround the building. Printed on the upper right part of the image is the titles, "1136 First Presbyterian Church, Marshall, Tex." Printed on the right edge of the image: "Published by Mathewson Drug Co., Marshall, Tex." Printed on the back in the lower left corner is the Curt Teich Co. logo with the letters "C" and "T" intertwined , "Co." in the opening of the "C", and "Chicago" below. There is a postmark dated July 18, 1908. The card was addressed to Miss Nelle Lymes in Waco, Texas, and forwarded to her in Asheville, North Carolina.

Postcard of the Harrison County Courthouse in Marshall, Texas. A small tree stands in the foreground. The top right corner of the image bears a postmark from Dallas, Texas, dated June 27, 1908. The courthouse was designed by architects J. Riely Gordon and Cornelius Grandbery Lancaster in 1899 and completed in 1901. Printed along the left edge of the message space: "Published by Novelty Post Card Co., Kansas City, Mo."

Black and white halftone postcard showing the high school building in Marshall, Texas. The view shows the facade and left side of the two-story brick building. Stairs lead to entrance doors on either side of a projecting hipped roof central section with a tower on top of the roof. Printed in the border to the right of the image is the title, "High School, Marshall, Tex." Printed on the back on the left edge of the message sections is: "Published by Novelty Post Card Co., Kansas City, Mo.." There is no message on the back, but the card is adressed to Miss Leslie Wilson, Arena, Wisc. Part of the postmark is missing, but probably is dated Oct. 23, 1908.

Washington, Ave. The buildings on either side of this building have been artifically removed from the image and the building is surrounded by a uniform blue color, with pale orange adjacent to the first floor level. A man stands in the doorway of the commercial space on the first floor and a selection of rocking chairs and straight chairs have been placed on the front edge of the sidewalk. To the left of the shopfront is the narrow entrance door to the stairs leading to the Elks lodge rooms. A decorative grating with the word "Elks" in the center is above the door. The striped awning on the first floor is retracted. There is a recessed bay window on the second level above the shopfront, and on the third level a semicircular recess, or exedra. Printed on the top of the image is the title "Elks Building, Marshall, Texas." There is no postmark or message on the back.

Printed on the top of the image in red is the title, "Texas & Pacific Railway Shops, Marshall, Texas." Printed in the lower left corner of the image in red: "2049." In the top left of the back of the card are the stylized initials "A. H. Co.," probably standing for the Alfred Holzman Co. of Chicago, Illinois. The postmark on the back of the card is dated Oct. 8, 1908, and the card is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. J. Smyth, New Orleans, La.

Color tinted halftone postcard of the city hall, Marshall, Texas, 110 E. Houston St. The view shows the façade and east side of the building, which is on a slope. It has three stories and a basement. Three men in suits stand on the front sidewalk. A telephone pole is on the corner. Printed on the left top of the image is the title "City Hall, Marshall, Texas." A year is not legible in the postmark on the back, but handwritten at the top of the message is the date Nov. 17, 1908. A stylized "A H Co" is printed in the top left corner of the back. The card is addressed to Mrs. Homer Isett, Chanute, Kansas.
