He is wearing a cowboy hat, a shirt over a white one, pants, and dark boots. The scene is in the middle of a prairie. On the bottom of the front and the back, Rose wrote bits of local news.

Embossed color postcard depicting Santa Claus and a small child. He holds a sack in his hands and the child holds fruit and gifts in its hands. Correspondence on the back reads, "Dear Baby, A Merry X'mas & Happy New Year to Your Mud, Daddy & yourself. From Big Erloo, Erloo, and Baby Dorothy." It is addressed to Miss Rosa Louise Dill, 528 Mill St. Paris, Texas. It is postmarked Oklahoma, Okla. on Dec 23, 1908.

Postcard addressed to Mayme Collins in Central City, Nebraska from Leda Bahl with a Christmas illustration printed on the front. The picture on the front is of a bell decorated with Christmas decorations all around it, and "A Merry Christmas" printed below it. There is a note on the reverse side of the card from Leda that reads: "Guessing you are glad that the time is almost here for you to come home you said you were anxious to see Harry's house. You ought to see Harry's dog. I told you Harry he thought more of the dog than he does of his sisters. Mayme wish you all a merry Xmas."

The house here is a two-storied house with a large portico set on stone pillars and balconies on both floors extending in both directions for the house's front facade. A covered driveway juts out from the house's side at left, with a paved pathway leading up to the side of the house.
