Another note on the back of the photo reads: "Oct. 25, 1884 - Sept. 9, 1950. Football coach for Waco High School. Several state championships and one national championship. Oakwood Cemetery, Waco. Purchased at Joe L. Ward estate sale in Waco Nov. 2013."
