Postcard with an image of several young girls holding hands and dancing in a circle. The text below the image in an invitation to the Cradle Roll Reception and reads, "We are going to have a party! Will you come? Our welcome will be hearty; Will you come? Just coax Mamma to bring you; Some pretty songs we'll sing you, Close to our hearts we'll swing you; Say you'll come! You will see some other babies When you come; So now no 'ifs' nor 'Maybes' You must come! We're longing to caress you, To our loving hearts will press you And we'll ask the Lord to bless you, 'Course you'll come!" The date, time, and place of the reception is handwritten, "Friday Afternoon Apl 13 1906 from 330 to 5 o'clock at 1st Cumb Pres Ch, Chas Manlou. The postcard is addressed to Miss Rosa Louise Dill, City.

The vertically oriented postcard contains a depiction of a woman in a simple gown and cape, holding an umbrella, amongst some leafy vines. The ground of the card stock is tan, the woman's hat and cloak are black, and the vine is green as is the simple line indicating the woman's sandals.

A seated woman in front of a window holds a handkerchief and an open book is at her left elbow on the table.

A few pedestrians are walking on the sidewalks and a few wagon are parked in front of buildings. The ladies are wearing long skirts and wide brimmed hats. Commercial buildings line both sides of the street. A few of the buildings have sidewalk canopies. Printed on the top of the card in black ink is the title "Looking West on Austin Street, Marshall, Texas." There is no postmark or message on the back of the card. Printed along the left edge of the back of the card is: "Published expressly for Duke & Ayres Nickel Stores. Made in U.S.A." The code A-33879 is in the lower right of the message section. The printing on the back is in green ink.

Shown here is a postcard, reading "Mosquito Street [actually Mesquite Street], Looking North, Mineral Wells, Texas." Please note the Chautauqua Theater (1905-1912) at the end of the street. This picture was taken before street car tracks were installed in 1907. Also note the the absence of cars on the street--only horses and buggies.

Postcard addressed to Mamie Collins in Waco, Texas with an illustration on the front of a man driving a car with a barrel acting as a front wheel, an umbrella as a roof, and a bucket of objects hanging off the back; the title of this illustration is "I auto write."

On the back, the address is written as "Miss Mamie McFaddin Beaumont, Texas."
