Doctor William A. Barton. Photo circa 1905: Dr. Barton, doctor and druggist in Clay County. Lived in Newport area c.1885 - c. 1900, then in Bellevue until his death in 1922. He ran a pharmacy in Bellevue with his wife's step-father, William C. Hood. His store was destroyed in the 1906 tornado. Buried in Bellevue cemetery.
