Her hair is pulled back. Born in 1880, she was 17 years old when this photograph was taken. [Although the date 1917 is written on the bottom of the mount card, another copy of this photograph in the family collection bears the date June 21, 1897.] The photographers' imprint at the bottom of the card and on the back is Bruce & Corti, Marshall, Texas.
