Postcard of Kilgore main street with shops and numerous 1940's era cars on both sides of the street and numerous oil derricks on the left side of the street. The print on the bottom in the middle on the front reads: "No. Kilgore ST. - Kilgore Tex". The writing on the back reads: " This is the town we are stoppinh in now - Francis is working here for the Shell Oil Co, - Oil wells everywhere where we expected is [illegible] here until the early part of April [illegible] travel back home - Everyone jime and stauding the trip wonderfully - Was a week in Brownsville and found it cold and rainy down there.
