Due to inflation, Links will run a substantial deficit for the year, and action must be taken to avoid running deficits in subsequent years. Lawson proposes increasing fees, dues, and fines for members to raise the necessary revenue to keep the organization from going bankrupt. She is presenting a budget and finance report to all members so that they can discuss appropriate measures.
