She talks about killing hogs and making lard. She is trying to move into her new house, but the contractors haven't finished yet. She wishes they could spend Christmas with them. She gives news on everyone. Mr. Thornhill died of a locked jaw. She receives news from Minnie and Sallie. She has a picture she wants to send them. She talks about her future neighbors. She mentions the next time she writes will be in her new home. She asks that they write to her and tell her how they are doing.

Letter from Claude White to his father-in-law, C. B. Moore, in which he gives his views on the loss of friends or their injury in war. He says that he has not changed his view of Miss Minny, "the old maid school teacher." He also states that Linnet married "not wealth but brains education industry and morals...."

This document is from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is a personal statement by C. B. Moore which was written when Moore was 79 years old. He is noting that his age has surpassed the age of his father's and grandfather's death. Moore states that he does not expect to live much longer and details that he has his will and estate in place, but would like to emphasize that his wife and daughter receive his estate in his passing. He furthers that his daughter will receive more land, some money, and a filly named Trixy. Also, he states that he has full confidence in his wife's financial ability. The statement is dated September 30, 1901.

In the memo's closing remarks, Pearson encloses the will and states that he sends his best wishes for Moore's present and future well-being. The memo is dated October 30, 1901.

Linnet details her visit to cousin Walter, mentions a real estate prospect that may have her and Claude moving in the future, and remarks on how windy it is which has made her embroidery and table pieces dirty rom hanging to dry on the line. She notes that she and Claude are planning a visit to Mr. White's home and will be there visiting for two weeks, if all goes well. She remarks on how lovely it is for her mother to have gotten a new dress and …

This document is from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is a letter written by G. W. Duncan and is addressed to Mary Ann Moore. Duncan details that he has deposited twenty-five dollars in the Collin County Bank for Moore and he is enclosing the receipt for the money. In the letter's closing, Duncan mentions that his family is well and he hopes that the letter finds Moore well too. He closes by stating that they may visit Moore in the summer. The letter is dated January 6, 1903 and was written in Princeton, TX.

This is a document from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is a memo from Geo P. Bemis to J. A. Frye discusiing the real estate paper of Lot 10, block one,Madison Square. The documentation that accompanied the memo to Frye included: A Warranty deed from Florence Company to Elizabeth Tuttle, mortgage papers from Elizabeth Tuttle and Peter M. Tuttle to the Conservative S. & L. Association, tax judgement sale receipts from county treasurer in the amount of $11.50, and a receipt from the Conservative S. & L. Association for $900.00 which was dated April 9, 1906. Bemis states that the documentation merits the mortgage cancelled and marked paid.

Receipt for the payment of a premium due to the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company. The receipt was issued on December 1, 1902 on the life of Claude D. White.

Receipt for personal property taxes in Collin County, Texas issued to C. B. Moore. The back of the form has been used to work out a mathematics problem.
