Letter from W. F. Ohlemeyer to David Duclos discussing his personal life including his ailments, and barretts that Duclos gave him, which he wore to play pool. The letter is in an envelope addressed to Dave Duclos in Massachusetts (with a postal sticker referring to a new address for Duclos) and a postmark dated December 18, 1989.

Letter from Leonard Ward to the S. D. Myres Saddle Company discussing several different saddles and spur designs. He says that he has enclosed photographs (though they are not included with this letter). The envelope is addressed to S. D. Myres Saddle Company in Massachusetts and postmarked December 21, 1982.

Letter from Betty Anne Thedford to William Myres discussing her appreciation for the five hundred dollars to go towards a scholarship on behalf of the Junior Rodeo Association. The scholarship money was given to Texas Western College for the 1958 Fall Semester.

Certificate for "distinguished service" awarded to Sam Myres by the U.S. War Department for his donations of saddles and other gear to the military during World War I. It includes two letters regarding the award, including a statement from the War Department Director of Purchase, Storage and Traffic citing the nomination for a certificate for recognition and a letter from the headquarters of the Southern Department awarding the certificate to Myres.

Letter from John B. Ward to Frank La Croix at the S. D. Myres Saddle Company responding to an order for a dummy 4" Colt Diamondback and a 4" Diamondback. The letter is typed on Colt Industries letterhead and there are a number of handwritten notes and doodles on the page.

Check made out to S. D. Myres for four dollars and twenty cents on an S. D. Myres company check. It is signed by J. F Newman under the auspices of Thomas Trammell & Co., Bankers, Sweetwater, Texas.

Paperwork for an order of a plain, black A166 sight guard from the S. D. Myres Saddle Co. by Francis Duclos. The invoice is printed on green paper and lists the item, a handling charge, and the receipt of payment; a copy on yellow paper has the prices marked out and is labeled "packing list." Both pages are in an envelope printed with an S. D. Myres logo in the upper-left corner, addressed to Duclos, which is stamped and postmarked Dec. 3, 1975.

Certificate from The Council of the Order of High Priesthood of the State of Texas to Sam Myres, consecrating him as a high priest of the Order of Melchizedec. The certificate is a faded yellow with an intricate black border; there is an orange stamp in the bottom left.
