Price writes that employees are happy with their current benefits, especially their liberal sick leave, and are concerned about any changes to their coverage. She also says that the bill should not be passed if it would require strict physical examinations that would limit the employment of handicapped and older people or if it would increase insurance premiums and reduce benefits, which CHapter 39 of the Texas Public Employees Association opposes.
