Letter from Henry Clay, Jr. to Jenni Hill describing his actions from 1917 to 1918. Clay left the U. S. on August 18, 1917 and then left England on March 17, 1918; he first went over the lines in April 1918.

He tells Emma that he and a few others will speak to the captain if they do not hear anything soon. Hector tells Emma that he knocked off his job and went to a football game and that they will have a an event at their mess hall.
