Texas Daily Newspaper Association's honored newspaper editorial interns who worked at The Dallas Morning News and the Houston Chronicle the summer of 2007 have been awarded the H.M Fentress Award, sponsored by Cox Enterprises and the Texas Daily Newspaper Association. Winner Matthew Haag, who interned at The Dallas Morning News, received $250 and a plaque. The runner-up Ashley Harris, who interned at the Houston Chronicle, received $100 and a plaque.
