Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky, who is a professor at the University of Texas School of Medicine, and E. Gifford Upjohn who is from the Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The first letter is dated December 5, 1936, and the last August 17, 1939. The letters primarily discuss the Upjohn Company's offer to subsidize certain research areas in the Medical School of the University of Texas. The gentlemen discuss grant options, relevant contacts, and the views of the Deans of the University of Texas.
