Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky, a research professor at the University of Texas, and Dr. S. Porter Miller, who is from the Chemistry Department at the Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. The first letter, which is handwritten by Dr. Miller and dated December 10, 1940, requests Dr. Bodansky's assistance in obtaining a scholarship to assist an ailing potential student. The second letter, which is dated December 20, 1940, is a response from Dr. Bodansky. The letter expresses Dr. Bodansky's sentiments and states possible sources and contacts that might help Dr. Miller.
