Letter from Kenith L. Ballard to T. V. Learson (and copied to Thomas J. Watson, Jr. and John J. Herrera) explaining what Ballard perceived as conspiracy and sabotage to exclude him from the special benefits opportunity for his retirement. Ballard attempted to change his retirement to an ongoing sick leave with a new retirement date set for December. Ballard concludes with the statement that future correspondence will be through his attorney, John J. Herrera.

An announcement on LULAC Council No. 60 letterhead for their dance to be held on Sunday, December 9, 1945 with honored guest Macario Garcia, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Other special invited guests included the Mexican Consul,the Chairman of the Good Neighbor Commission, the mayor of Houston, Sgt.
