She suspected he was running from them, so she called the police who came to the theater and arrested the man. She later learned that he was Lee Harvey Oswald.

Report written by Bob K. Carroll to Chief J. E. Curry concerning the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald. Carroll describes searching the Texas Theater for the suspect in the shooting of Officer J. D. Tippit and locating him on the lower floor. Lee Harvey Oswald was apprehended and taken from the theater, during which onlookers were shouting at him. Carroll then brought Oswald to the City Hall.

The first location was a false report and he ended up going to the Texas Theater to help with the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald.
