Photograph of the hammermilling of blue grama seed harvested with a drum type seed stripper. About 11,000 pounds of blue grama seed (uncleaned) were harvested on the H. D. Cornell ranch this fall [i.e., 1950]. Cornell will use part of the seed on his ranch to reseed denuded areas and has purchased a drill. TX-47-380.

Terrace Outlet Follow Up

Photograph of a follow up to photo 10-539A. Terrace outlet constructed in May 1950. 40' wide at top and 90' wide at bottom. 17 loads barnyard manure was plowed in. 450 bushels bermuda grass roots were spread on top and plowed in June, 1950. 6 weeks later the outlet was ready to carry.
