Interview with E. Benjamin Dunn, a Army WWII veteran and POW from Gorham, Illinois, who was captured by the Japanese on Java with the 2nd Battalion, 131st Field Artillery (the "Lost Battalion.") Dunn discusses training in the Army, transfer to 2-131 and deployment to the Pacific, the fall of Java and being captured, experiences in internment in Batavia and later Changi Prison Camp in Singapore, building the Burma-Thailand Death Railway, and liberation.

Interview with Angela Bynum, veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, as part of the Tarrant County War Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Bynum's personal experiences of childhood and education in California and Texas, enlisting in the U.S. Army, basic and advanced training as a motor transport operator, training in avoidance of improvised explosive devices, and transport missions between Iraq and Kuwait. Bynum also discusses her inability to withstand Airborne training, the decision to leave active duty in 2002, her use of the GI Bill benefits to attend Tarrant Community College, the 2004 call-up from reserve duty and deployment to Iraq, her family's concerns regarding deployment, and aspects of daily life for American soldiers stationed in Iraq.

Interview with William Hunter McLean, insurance executive, former chair of the Texas State board of Insurance (1963-68), and chairman of the Johnson-Humphrey campaign in Texas. The interview includes McLean's comments on the evolution of the State Board of Insurance, insurance scandals of the mid-1950s, fire and casualty rate-making, automobile insurance and the Johnson-Humphrey campaign in Texas.

Interview with Bill Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, concerning his recollections and experiences during the second special session of the 65th legislature. He discusses property tax, sales tax, the position of state governments, the opinions of other politicians at the session, and tax reform.

Audio log for a recording of an interview with David Jordan, former Head of Dispatch for Braniff International Airways, conducted for the Flying Voices oral history project. In the interview Jordan discusses working as a flight dispatcher, being a part of the Braniff family, the transition to Harding Lawrence as chairman, Braniff's bankruptcy on May 12, 1982, and personal reflections on his time with Braniff. Appendix includes copy of a paper written by Jordan in 1958 concerning Braniff International Airways.

In the interview, LaQuey discusses working in various roles from the ticket counter to flight dispatch, the transition when Harding Lawrence took over, other personal experiences and anecdotes, and the bankruptcy of Braniff in 1982.
