Patent for a new and improved seed separator. This design "provide[s] a machine for [separating seeds] in which the grinding and separating actions will be performed continuously and in a more automatic manner, dispensing with the work of the hand, requiring a less amount of water, and at the same time performing the grinding and separating actions in a more rapid and perfect manner" (lines 29-36).

Patent for a new and improved running gear for wagons. This design "consists, primarily, in an axle provided with a spring attachment or cushion-brace or strain-distributer of sufficient strength connected to the axle, either directly or through the skein, to counteract the strain caused by the super-incumbent weight or by any violence to which the axle may be subjected" (lines 24-31).

Patent for planting and chopping cotton.

Patent for a new and improved hopple. This design consists in the combination of the surcingle, the bands connected to the bottom thereof, the supporting straps secured to one of said bands, and the knee-bands constructed of stiff leather in semi-cylindrical form, attached to said straps and having the securing-straps" (lines 37-42).

Patent for a new and improved hame. This design "has relation to hames, and more particularly to the means of securing the hames adjustable to each other, and for connecting the usual parts of the harness thereto; and among the objects in view are to provide an easily-manipulated serviceable hame connection that may be adjusted to fit any sized collars, and which may be constructed at a minimum cost" (lines 11-19).

Patent for a hame of simple and inexpensive construction, including illustrations.

Patent for a new kind of fastener for draft animal harnesses that is inexpensive and has no springs or buckles. Illustration included.

Patent for a gate that improves "the construction of sliding gates, and to provide a simple and inexpensive one, which will be positive and reliable in its operation, and which may be opened and closed a distance from it approaching it in either direction, without dismounting or leaving a vehicle" (lines 10-16). It also prevents farm animals from passing through when the gate is closed.

Patent for a seed-planter that can be used with corn, peas, and cotton. It has a changeable gear, an upright frame, an axle and supporting-wheel, a crank shaft, vertical slots, a toothed disk, and a hopper.

Patent for a harness-hame and "contemplates the provision of improved means forming a part of the hames for securing the trace-chains thereto; also the provision of an improved trace-link adapted for connection with said securing means in a manner to insure maximum strength" (lines 15-21).

Patent for a type of wheel called a spring wheel, and will allow for simple and efficient means of producing a spoke, and eliminate the need for an inflated tire when attaching the spoke, including illustrations.

Patent for "a demountable vehicle rim, which may be quickly secured to or detached from the felly rim or band of a wheel" (lines 9 - 11). As well as "to provide a demountable rim having lugs adapted to fit within bayonet slots in the felly band and be secured therein against rotational movement relative to the wheel by a plurality of spring pressed wedges or keys" (lines 16 - 21).
