A supplementary report on Inter River District Green River Desert Area, Utah, regarding a careful estimation of the potential pore reserves of the area.

Several relatively small copper-uranium deposits have been found in southwestern Utah along the contact of the Shinarump and Moenkopi formations of Triassic age, at least from the San Rafael Swell area of Emery County, southward through central and eastern Garfield County, southwestward into western Kane County, and westward into the southern part of Washington County.

From introduction: Preliminary field data have been assembled as a background for laboratory investigations directed toward interpretation of alteration features in the East Slope area. Such data constitute one of several units which should improve our understanding of the pattern of uranium distribution.

Appendix containing single-record and averaged record data listings to accompany a report on aerial radiometric and magnetic survey of the Delta Quadrangle in Utah.

From approach: This survey consisted of aerial gamma-ray spectrometer and magnet-meter data collection including: (1) Coverage of those portions of the Delta, Utah NTMS 1:250,000 scale quadrangle (Figure 1-1) which were not surveyed in 1976 under Bendix Field Engineering Corporation subcontract No. 76-019-L, Texas Instruments (1977a). (2) Reflights of portions of the 1976 flight lines which were out of altitude specifications. (3) Extra flight lines over the 1976 survey area to provide complete detailed coverage of the NW quarter of the quadrangle. The program also included processing and interpretation of the gamma-ray spectrometer data necessary to indicate potential new uranium prospecting areas.
