Satellite-Based Assessment of the Mississippi River Discharge Plume's Spatial Structure and Temporal Variability
The Mississippi River is a major contributor of sediments, pollutants, and nutrients into the northern Gulf of Mexico, which creates a plume into the ocean. This report utilized lots of data to determine what environmental factors effected the dispersal of the plume from the river.
