Jenkins stated that reporters were losing their press passes in the building, and he saw a man wearing a pass that was not his - but it was not Ruby. Jenkins found another press pass and returned it to its owner.

Report typed by an unknown author concerning the activities of Jack Ruby. The report regards an interview with Sam Pate of K. B. O. X. Radio Station. Pate stated that he observed Ruby in the assembly room in the basement of City Hall on Friday night, November 22, 1963. Pate knew Ruby well and was not sure how he got in the assembly room. After leaving the basement, he introduced Ruby to Jerry Kunkle, and Ruby tried to hand out passes to the Carousel Club.
