The letter on the postcard writes, "Dear Mamie, we are in Vernon, will be home soon and are certainly glad of it. Guess if nothing happens I will see you about one week from Weds - Sia." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin c/o Mr. W. P. H. McFaddin Beaumont, Texas."
