Williams in El Paso, but a handwritten note on the back says: "Opened by mistake by B. M. Williams - 720 N. Florence." The postmarks on the envelope are from El Paso, TX and Austin, TX.

Letter to Claude White and family in which the author discusses the weather, crops, and tells the story of a wagon being driven through a wire fence and the damage that caused. The author mentions a trial that is coming up. Also discussed are the activities of neighbors, friends, and family.

Letter from J. W. Berry to Claude White in which Mr. Berry says he ran into John Cox who told him that Claude owes him money for a mare. Mr. Berry is said that he is "sorry that the trade turned out as it did." He offers to pay Cox for Claude and send him the receipt. He also updates him on the rain and availability of water. A deposit slip for the Melissa State Bank is also included.

This letter is from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Walter Wallace. The letter details the family lineage of Moore's grandmother, Elizabeth Wallace Lanius. It notes family members and the places of death. Wallace furthers that a remaining family member, Uncle James, is in bad health. In the letter's closing, he mentions that Moore's daughter and her husband will visit him and his family. He states that they will do what they can to make her visit a pleasnat one. He also urges Moore to visit and mentions that his home is always open to C.B. The letter is dated October 31, 1901. It was written Denison, TX.

This document is from the Charles B. Moore Collection. it is a memo written by J. M Pearson to Moore discussing Moore's will. Pearson states that Moore must have his will probated and include a clause that makes Moore's wife an executor of his will without bond or expense except to probate will, file inventory, and appraisal of the estate. He includes a clause that should be used by Moore in his will. In the memo's closing remarks, Pearson encloses the will and states that he sends his best wishes for Moore's present and future well-being. The memo is dated October 30, 1901.

After October 18, the newlywed couple would take up residence at 214 Gandy Street, Denison, Texas. There are two copies of the announcement included.

A wedding announcement for the marriage of Nancye Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Wright, to Mr. David A. Payne. The wedding was to be held on Wednesday, October 16, 1907.

Letter from Carter Dalton to Linnet Moore. He wanted to respond to Linnet's letter before too much time had passed. He was worried about Lula going to Dallas to visit Linnet. He is about to be on his way home to spend time with Jim Cook. Jim's mother and sister are in Austin, but he hasn't seen them. He asks about who is in love with Linnet now. He talks about his problems and asks if Linnet is coming to the San Antonio fair. He talks about Burnet and how old friends don't talk to him anymore. So he is now lonely, but he has some questions for her about graduation. He asks about her suitors and the guy that sent Lula a picture of himself.

Letter to Linnet Moore. She tells Linnet that she is finally taking a break from her busy week. She spent some time with Mrs. White. They decided to go to San Antonio, but she doesn't want Carter to spend all of his time with her. She would like to know if Linnet plans on going.

Letter from Claude White to his cousin Laura. He doesn't want to say he was surprised to receive her letter so soon, but he was happy to get it. He mentions what a good friend she has been to him. He is thankful that she has helped reconcile the differences between him and Linnet, his sweetheart. He advises her to accept the proposal from her 'medicine man' only if he pleases her. He doesn't want her to be married to someone she thought she knew. He mentions how much he loves Linnet. He asks her to come with Linnet so he can see them. He tells her his plan for them to come and visit him. He sends regards to his cousin Bettie and asks her to give his love to Linnet every time she sees her.

This is a letter from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is written by Carter J. Dalton and is addressed to Linnet Moore. In this letter, Dalton congratulates Linnet on her upcoming wedding. Her notes that his gift for her is a receipt for her past debts. Dalton details the latest news about friends, tells Moore about a sofa cushion he received, and mentions that he travels quite a bit with Jim Cooke so Jim can visit his girl, Minnie Lewis. As he closes the letter, he notes that she will make an ideal wife and asks where the couple will live.The envelope is included with the letter.

Letter sent from Minnie O. Rawlings to Charles B. Moore informing him that she has received the invitation to Linnet's wedding courtesy of her mother and says that it may be a difficult time for Moore as he will have an empty nest. She also discusses her teaching position in Mexico City, how she enjoys the climate, her health, and her plans for Christmas vacation. She notes that Mexico has an abundance of historical places that would be of interest to Charles, primarily Chapultepec.
