Photocopy of a letter from Jack Davis, co-director of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts to Jim Muro and Mark Elder, in regards to the Amon G. Carter Foundation matching a grant provided by the Getty Center for Education in the Arts. The letter goes into details of how the grant money will be divided into three different payments over the course of three years, so that it is consistent with the payment provided by the Getty Center. A letter from Mary Ann Stankiewicz, program officer for the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, to the Regional Institute Directors. In the letter, Stankiewicz says that she is leaving her position as program officer at the Getty Center for Education in the Arts effective October 8, 1992. Starting November 2, 1992, Stankiewicz says she will be the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. The letter she gives her new work address, telephone and fax number. The move to Florida will also affect her husband, David Ebitz, also November 2 he will be the director of the Ringling Museum of Art. cc'd on the letter is Vicki Rosenberg.

News from the University of North Texas, Office of Public Affairs and Information services, titled "Swedish art educators visit UNT, observe teaching methods." The news reads that a group of visual arts educators from Sweden will spend three days observing how UNT is working with schools, museums and galleries to incorporate art into the general classroom curricula. On October 19th, the group will visit the office of the university's North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts to learn about the institute's Transforming Education through the Arts Challenge. October 20th the group will visit the metroplex schools and on October 21st they will visit the museums and galleries. The news document states to contact Kelley Reese for inquires.
