Photographs of illustrations in "The Elizabethan Zoo: A Book of Beasts Both Fabulous and Authentic" held by UNT Special Collections. The first image is of a creature with the head of a human, breasts, scales, paws, hooves, and a tail that is called a Lamia. The second image's central focus is a tapered passage about the "Mantichora", or manticore, including different names and descriptions for the creature. The face of the illustration is visible on the other page. Image 3, is of a manticore, spelled Mantichora in the book. It has a lion's body, the head of a man with a wide mouth and rows of teeth, and a spiked barb at the end of the tail. Image 4, is of a rhinoceros with added details. There are layers of 'armor' on it that does not resemble the way a rhino truly looks, though the form as a whole is accurate to the rhino.

Image 1, a list of officers separated by the organizations they are a part of. Image 2 and 3, a handwritten note at the top reads "Organized Oct. 12, 1902" and lists the two sponsors of the Mary Arden Club and the Current Literature Club. They also include illustrations of the items and war scenes.

Photograph of 'Bleak House' held by UNT Special Collections. It is a novel written by Charles Dickens and the illustration is done by Hablot K. Browne. The spine and cover are done in a maroon color and the material on the spine is cracked down the middle. The top and sides are also worn down and fraying. There are painted gold lines breaking up the spine into five separate chambers and the title is printed in gold in the second one.

Photograph of an application for oil rations held by UNT Special Collections as part of the Rare Book & Texana Collections. It is a form that needs to be filled out in order to receive oil rations for driving and travel. It is filled out by "Mrs. Abbie F. Stevens" for use at "20 Riverview Ave." in Waltham, Massachusetts. There are logged dates when gallons of oil were delivered and who delivered the gallons. The form is number "V-534250M-5".

Photographs of pressed plants held by UNT Special Collections as part of the Jeane Dixon Collection. They were kept in a book titled "A Handbook for Travellers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden" and are now stored separately. There are seven in total, two pieces of greenery and five floral pieces. One has a paper note in it that reads "Falkoping Sweden".

Photographs of casualty lists held by UNT Special Collections. They are arranged in a loose pile with the title and lists visible on most. The papers were early releases for newspapers to prepare their morning editions and afternoon editions. There are also specified release dates on each and a note to editors. They are authorized by the War Department of the US government.

Photographs of stains between the pages in "A Handbook for Travellers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden" held by UNT Special Collections. In the first image the pages are opened to a passage about Denmark and the stain is mirrored on both sides of the seam. It is from a pressed flower that was placed between the pages on someone's travels. In the second image the pages are also about Denmark but the stain shows the details of a different plant with what appears to have been leaves and some petals.

Photographs of a Ticket Book for courses at Texas Normal College and Training Institute held by UNT Special Collections. The first image is of the front. It has a top section with information about when the tickets were used and the three tickets out of five at the bottom for drills, lectures, and study courses. The second image is of the back. The larger portion includes a promise signed by Lewis L. Fry, namesake of Fry Street in Denton, TX. There are also signatures on the backs of each ticket for course opportunities.
