Memo released by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas to announce a public hearing to be held in the city regarding hurricane flood protection for the city and surrounding areas. The text also outlines the general problems that will be addressed during the meeting and various proposals and statements related to the topic.

Report documenting "factual data relative to the movements of vehicular traffic into and thru [sic] the Bay City area. The survey was ordered and planned to obtain data necessary for a comprehensive study of future development of highway facilities in the area" (p. 5). It includes graphs and tabular analyses of the survey, which was conducted on October 11, 1960.

This book is a reproduction of the original 1952 publication, which is the only bound copy of the history of Winnsboro, Texas. It includes information about the original settlers, the general organization of the city, the railroad system, the original schools, churches and businesses in Winnsboro, as well as information about agriculture and farming.

The map contains a legend that represents with line patterns the surface contour of the region and the kinds of sedimentary rocks and minerals from diverse geological eras.

Document describes the origins and history of the Soil Survey with an emphasis on the time periods of 1899-1912, 1912-1920, 1920-1933, and 1933-1952. "For each of the four chronological periods, a brief introductory chapter describes the general political and administrative environment then prevailing, and a summary of the progress of the Soil Survey achieved under such an environment." (p. 36) Also provides information on early soil sampling, typing, mapping, and interpretation. Also tells about the coordination of the National Cooperative Soil Survey and developments in the National Cooperative Soil Survey from 1952-1957.
