Stephens advises Ross that Florida has tentatively agreed to supervise Subject 59,311 and Texas can close their files. The reverse side includes inked stamp; RECEIVED 1957 OCT 16 AM 8: 15 BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES.

A letter addressed to Mr. L. B. Stephens, Administrator, Interstate Parole Compact, Montgomery, Alabama, from Jack Ross, Administrator, Interstate Parole Compact, Austin, Texas (by Ruby Blackburn, Administrative Assistant), Board of Pardons and Paroles, Texas, dated October 17, 1957. Blackburn acknowledges the receipt of correspondence relative to the termination of the supervision of Subject 59,311. Typewritten at the bottom of the page is correspondence from Blackburn to Mr. Carswell advising him to return the supervisory material to their office, that the Subject has been transferred to Florida and she expresses their appreciation for the cooperation and assistance by him in this matter.

Patent for improvements in mechanical movements by using the “combination of the frame comprising the base, the standard rising from one end of the base, the up-rights rising from the other end of the base, the horizontal bars connecting the standard ………….and reversely coiled around the shaft adjacent the operating-lever at points near the ends of shaft and having its ends secured to the ends of the cross-bar of the operating-lever.” (Lines 6-23, p.2) Illustration is included.
