NOTE AWRY SEAT.-- A 16-year-old Roosevelt junior high school student was injured Wednesday morning when his motor sccoter collided with an auto at NW 9 and Klein, an intersection adjoining the school ground. Dale Roach, 1935 NW 16, suffered shoulder and wrist injuries when he was thrown from the motor scooter by the impact. The boy was taken to Mercy hospital, treated for a slight cut on his forehead and X-rays were taken to determine extent of injury to both wrists and his left shoulder. His injuries were not believed to be serious. Officers H. J. Bradshaw and W. J. Marshall said the boy's motor scooter collided with a car driven by Marjorie Owetta Olden, 32, of 1518 NW 2. After the boy was thrown from his motor scooter, the vehicle traveled 56 feet and crashed against a curb. The seat was torn loose and the handle-bar was broken. The right side of Mrs. Golden's car was dented by the scooter. Officers said they booked the woman on charges of failure to yield the right of way and …
