At upper left are individual sheds and runs for the principal herd bulls. Pens with shade shelters extend to the left and back for the calf barn. These hold bulls, heifers and cows of different ages from the pure herd, and will be filled with selected Angus for the President's inspection. They also are used at sale time to display animals. Winter feeding for the brood animals also can be done here when pasture is dormant. Pastures surround the area. Not shown but off to lower left of the photo are homes of Dr. Paul Keesee, the ranch manager and his family, and Authur Gee, assitant.
