The expressway paving is smooth, wide and, at this time, very lightly traveled since it hasn't been opened to traffic yet. It will get you where you want to go in a hurry, but don't expect beautiful scenery. The beauty spots along the route are few. Those that are veiwable now may be blocked by billboards by the time the expressway opens. Framework for the billboards already is up at several locations along the north (downtown) side of the expressway. For the westbound traveler on the expressway, the first view you will get of Oklahoma City as you top the hill west of Byers will be a billboard.
