Green trees grow throughout the lawn, their foliage partially obscuring the courthouse. The building is square in its general shape and is made of pale red bricks. A short set of stairs leads up to the front doors, which face towards the right side of the photo. Three rows of windows set into white frames span the width of all the building's sides. Four columns sitting atop the entryway to the courthouse rise up past two floors to support a rectangular pediment with the words "Cameron County Courthouse" written out on it. A similar structure is partially visible on the left side of the building, which face the left edge of the photo. Above the pediments and running along the roof's edge is a decorated wall, its bricks decorated with white stone. Multiple tall, thin metal structures of varying shapes sit on top of the courthouse's flat roof, one of which resembles an empty flagpole.
