Abstract: During parts of July, August, and September 1951, a reconnaissance was conducted in parts of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho in search of new deposits of uranium-bearing carbonaceous rocks. One significant uranium occurrence was found, the Fall Creek deposit, Bonneville County, Idaho. Several additional localities were discovered that contain uranium in concentrations many times that normally found in carbonaceous rocks.

From purposes and approach of study: The primary purposes of this study were to: (1) Define, on a reconnaissance level, current (1980) water-quality conditions in major aquifers (water-yielding rock formations) in the western Snake River basin, Swan Falls to Glenns Ferry; (2) summarize and interpret available geologic and hydrologic data to assist in understanding the natural and man-cause factors that affect present and future understanding the natural and man-caused factors that affect present and future water-quality conditions; and (3) establish a hydrologic data base on which future data can be compared to evaluate changes. A secondary purpose was to evaluate the possible effects percolation of thermal water applied for irrigation may have on the quality of local, less mineralized, nonthermal ground water.

Code calculations associated with Analysis of Test Severe Fuel Damage (SFD) 1-3 "performed with Quality Assured Version 251 of the SCDAP/RELAP5/MOD2 code, which is a computer code designed to characterize and quantify fuel damage processes in a reactor vessel during severe accidents. The code can be applied to the analysis of an individual fuel bundle, such as is the case for Test SFD 1-3, or to the analysis of an entire primary coolant system." (Page I-3 of the report)
