Marchbanks advises that her daughter Marilyn won the Literary Scholarship given by Dr. White to attend Hardin-Simmons University and, therefore, is requesting that Carswell recommend her for employment to the Commanding Officer at Camp Barkeley noting that his being on the draft board should help.
