From Purpose and Scope of Study: "The Torrington 1ºx2º Quadrangle in southeastern Wyoming and a small area of westernmost Nebraska was evaluated to determine areas favorable for the occurrence of uranium deposits. Geologic environments (areally or stratigraphically restricted parts of a geologic unit) were placed in categories of favorable, unfavorable, or unevaluated."
