Dhanada is an Ayurvedic Physician, Master Yoga Therapist, founder of SohamAyurYoga, Vedic Astrologer, and Vastu Consultant. Dhanada discusses her background and training, then breaks down the basic concepts of Ayurveda. Later in the conversation, she explains Vedic Astrology and the differences between Ayurvedic medicine and Western medicine. Dhanada also talks with Susan about her positive experiences teaching OLLI at UNT members.

In this episode, Susan interviews Dr. Jörg Waltje, Executive Director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at Texas Woman’s University and author of the book Blood Obsession: Vampires, Serial Murder, and the Popular Imagination. Dr. Waltje explains the Center’s various initiatives aimed at helping both students and faculty succeed. He and Susan also discuss his hobbies, his background in languages and literature, as well as his experiences teaching for OLLI at UNT.

Interview with Dr. Krisstal Clayton for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. In this episode, Susan interviews Dr. Krisstal Clayton of the Department of Psychology at UNT. In a wide-ranging conversation, Dr. Clayton talks with Susan about her collaborations with law enforcement professionals, clinicians, criminal offenders, and victims' advocates to educate students about the many roles psychology plays in the American legal system. Dr. Clayton also explains how she got involved developing music-paired rehabilitation therapy for persons with stroke and describes some of her other innovative approaches in the classroom.
