The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll E. Ward Texas Ice Co. Beaumont, Texas."

This loco pulled the excursion train up the east side of Marshall Pass without a helper, down to Gunnison, up to Crested Butte and back. Next evening it took the train back to Salida, CO, having loco 492 as a helper from Sargents to top of the of the pass.
