A good stand was received and indications are that a good seed harvest will be made. However, some drought damage was present. Guar shows promise as a catch crop in this area of Oklahoma. More observations are needed to see if stubble will control wind erosion and if sub-soil moisture is lowered to the point of affecting the following year's crop.
