Letter from John Todd Willis, Jr. to his parents Clara and John T. Willis, Sr. on August 30, 1944. Willis mentions that the mail is getting through again, and regrets hearing that Waco has been so hot recently. He recalls that dove season opens on September 1st, and he wishes he could go. He also mentions that he's talked to a friend who recently got married, and Willis doesn't think his friend was in the right position to get married. He's gone swimming a lot recently, and he hasn't gotten to see Robert, Jr. yet.
