Letter to Dr. Joseph Pound from Mittie Pound Sorrell in Russell, Oklahoma concerning life on their land and saying their crop yield should be good after the rain they had: "Our cotton looks good if nothing happens..." She says that "Jake and I joined the M. E. church all the children went in with the Baptist."

This five page document outlines different air combats that Henry Clay, Jr. was a part of. Each page contains a description of time, location, plane type, etc., remarks about the enemy aircraft, and a result of the fight.

Letter from Henry Clay, Jr. to his mother and family back home regarding his travels to St. Louis, Missouri. Clay says that they are on a train about three hours away from St. Louis but does not know about when they will travel to New York. Clay also tries to comfort his mother and tells her that she should be happy.

Postcard from Andrew J. Fallon to George Pendexter with a note from John Butler written on it; the note talks about sending for more cards with all of the "new auto horse wagons in Springfield, Mass." Butler had sent this card to Fallon and he then sent it on to Pendexter after crossing out the note on the card. The photograph on the reverse side shows a horse-drawn fire wagon with two firemen posing with it, one man is sitting in the driver's seat and the other is standing towards the rear. The vehicle itself has a large metal contraption in the back and an alarm bell mounted on the top of the bulb figure.

A letter from Henry Clay, Jr. to his family back home describing his trip through New York City, New York in 1917. Clay tells about his going to plays and staying in different places, all while having virtually no money. This also contains the envelope in which the letter was delivered in.
