The letter discusses recent communications with Coors regarding Joe Benites and use of LULAC and its members in Coors commercials. Attached to the letter are a "Boycott Coors Beer!" flyer and a LULAC press release stating the Coors Company is using LULAC's name without consent and the organization does not support their practices.

Letter from C. R. Tips, President of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, typed on organization letterhead and dated August 30, 1952. The body of the letter describes the membership campaign and indicates copies of the "Texas Passport" enclosed. To the right of the body is an image of Mrs. Barclay Megarity who was appointed as Executive Secretary of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and includes an article that appeared in the Dallas Times Herald.

Copies of the Commission's plan of "Community Organization for Inter-American Understanding" were sent under separate cover to be used by LULAC members in carrying out the program.
