Letter from Lewis Fulks at Abilene Christian University to the cast of the 1978 Homecoming musical, "Oliver." Jeanete Lipford read the letter to the cast. In the letter Fulks explains that "Oliver" will be the first Homecoming musical at ACU that he has not been involved with in seventeen years because he will be on medical leave.

Letter from Ray Roberts to G. V. Montgomery discussing the establishment of a select subcommittee to review pending legislation to award veterans' benefits to the WASPs and other groups.

Letter from Alan Cranston to Charlyne Creger explaining that he recognizes the services provided by the Women Airforce Service Pilots(U.S.) during World War II. He also states that the U.S. Senate is working with the U.S. House of Representatives Committees on Veterans Affairs to extend the benefits held by veterans to WASPs as well.

Letter from Raymond Canala Jr, the President of the Sierra Blanca Chamber of Commerce, to Mr. Don Watson regarding the book being written by Mr. Watson. Most of the letter is praise, accompanied with a suggestion to seek out a Mr. Paul Frames, a retired railroader, for more information. Along with the letter, there are a page with historical and geographical information about Hudspeth County, two photos of a Texas Historical marker about the Second Transcontinental Railroad, and a page with a transcription of the historical marker.

Letter from Betty Riddle to Mr. Rigdon Edwards discussing a letter she received a letter from Gip D. Oldham, Jr., to which she's not sure how to respond. She asks Mr. Edwards for help with how to respond, and mentions that she has fond memories of Sweetwater, Texas. The letter she discusses, which is included, asks for information from ex-instructors in the WASP air school for the WASP newsletter. Also included is the envelope addressed to Mr. Edwards from Betty Riddle.

Letter from Robert Baty to Rigdon Edwards discussing a movie script about the WASP members who served in WWII, asking for Mr. Edwards's first-hand experience to help them write the script. He mentions that Mrs. Maureen Stracener referred him to Mr. Edwards for information.

Letter from Elaine Harmon to a "W-Niner" discussing updates on the personal affairs of mutual acquaintances.

A letter written to Mr. Carswell from Ethel and Glyn Quade, Sagerton, Texas, dated August 3, 1970. Quade expresses their disappointment that they missed Carswell when he drove out there. She expresses their appreciation for the azaleas and Ideals books, asks after Mrs. Carswell and invites him to drive out on Friday for an evening meal noting that Lyndell will be home that evening.
