Klopfenstein, Chief, Bureau of Probation and Parole, Columbus 15, Ohio, from Jack Ross, Administrator, Interstate Parole Compact (by Maizie Toungate, Supervisor, Parole Division), Board of Pardons and Paroles, Texas dated August 1, 1955. Toungate references a letter from Klopfenstein in which a report on Subject OP 95040 was requested. She advises that Subject has reported each month, the reports have been forwarded to their office and that the conduct and attitude of Subject is satisfactory.

A letter written to Mr. R. N. McMichael, Placement Supervisor, Ohio Penitentiary, from Richard H. Brooks, M. D., Medical Director, James Hospital, dated August 26, 1954. Brooks advises McMichael that the medical records of Inmate No. 95040 have been reviewed and has retained the "No Occupational Restrictions" classification given shortly after arrival at the penitentiary.

McMichael, Placement Supervisor), Bureau of Probation and Parole, Columbus 15, Ohio, dated August 19, 1954. Advisement from the State of Ohio that Subject 95040 was granted a parole with the stipulation that the Texas Authorities be notified but that they have not yet been advised whether or not Subject will be taken into custody. A request is made to have an officer investigate placement in Abilene, Texas and advises of attached classification material. Attached is a Request of Sending State (Ohio) for Investigation regarding Subject OP 95040 addressed to Jack Ross, Parole and Probation Compact Administration, Austin, Texas from G. R. Klopfenstein, Chief, Bureau of Probation and Parole, Columbus 15, Ohio dated August 19, 1954. Proposed Residence is Abilene, Texas.

A letter written to the father of parolee, Abilene, Texas from G. R. Klopfenstein, Chief (by R. N. McMichael, Placement Supervisor), Bureau of Probation and Parole, Columbus 15, Ohio, dated August 19, 1954. Klopfenstein advises the father of Subject OP 95040 regarding parole having been granted and the need for tentative arrangements for the placement of Subject. He advises of an investigation which will be made for the placement of Subject in Texas.
