Sandefer expresses his appreciation for the work done by Carswell on the invitation and program. He makes two suggestions regarding the program. Sandefer then confides that he has arranged for the Railroad Commission to have their October statewide hearing in Abilene on the morning of the 13th which will assure them of an outstanding group of operators to be present for the memorial service.

The following week engineers are to be expected in the region to find the most practical route.
