[Letter from T. N. Carswell to Hugh Prather - August 6, 1956]

A letter written to Mr. Hugh Prather, State Democratic Executive Committeeman, Dallas, Texas, from T. N. Carswell, dated August 6, 1956. Carswell expands upon a suggestion made by Prather regarding the creation of a permanent organization for conservative Democrats of Dallas County by suggesting the creation of a statewide organization and establishing Dallas county as the headquarters. He offers congratulations to Prather and Ed Drake for their "great victories in May".
