Letter from A. D. Simpson to I. H. Kempner discussing the letter Kempner sent to Simpson during his absence from the city and the authorization of a deposit of $50,000 with the Sugar Land State Bank. Simpson mentions that he hopes the employees at the new bank get accustomed and feel at home quickly. Simpson also recalls how he has been friends with Kempner for 39 years and appreciates their friendship.
